Starting the Game
Select the green arrow button on the bottom right of the screen to start.
This will take you to the level screen. Choose your level using the arrow icons. If this is your first game, you will only have the first level available to you.
Game Controls
For desktop players there is only one control – the left button on the mouse.
You use the mouse to draw lines to match the lines in the customers speech bubble.
Some customers are a horizontal line while others are vertical.
After you get past the first level the shapes become more complex including other shapes like: m, v, ^, E, 3, S, and many other shapes.
Touchscreen device players can use their finger like a mouse.
Game Play
As customers enter, you will see a speech bubble floating above their heads.
To serve them, draw a matching line.
For example, if a customer “requests” a horizontal line design on their drink, draw a horizontal line.
If they request a vertical line, draw a vertical line.
Lines not need be perfectly parallel to the request, but the rough shape should match.
As the game progresses, customers will request more complex shapes that you must match. For example, they may request a V, M and O.
At the end of some levels a customer may require you make a serving with 4 different shapes in it.
By the time you get to the fourth level many customers make double orders.
Keep an eye on the seated customers. They will make orders too.
If you match the line, the bear will serve the customer.
If you don’t, the customer will leave without being served. If too many customers leave without being served, the game will end.
At the end of each level after all customers are served you get a bonus round where you practice making many drinks quickly.
Score bonus points
You can match more than one customer at the same time for extra points.
For example, if three customers in a row enter and they each request a vertical line, you only need draw one vertical line to serve them all. This is called a combo and earns extra points.
If you have the line already drawn you can hold the position and wait to release your mouse until the screen has many customers with that order on it so you get a large bonus.
The bar at the bottom left shows how many hot chocolates have been served. When the bar is full, the round ends. At the end of each round, you get to try for bonus points by matching the cups that come out of the machine.
Star rating
You earn multiple stars by serving a high number of hot chocolates with many combos.
If you get less than a 3-star rating you still unlock subsequent levels and can later go back to replay previously beat levels.
Complete all 15 rounds to beat the game.
Audience
This game will suit children of all ages. Younger children will likely enjoy the cute visuals and there is enough of a challenge for older kids.
There is no adult imagery in this game.
This game is a great way for helping young children work on their hand eye coordination and gain practice using a computer mouse.
