Play Railway Mysteries online for free. Railway Mysteries is a 6-level train themed hidden objects game where players must find hidden objects, locate hidden letters or numbers, compare the differences between two images, and match outlines to objects in 4 different stages across each level. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the Play button on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
- This will bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your level progress and high score within each stage of each level.
- Near the play button there are buttons for how to play help advice, game high scores, and more games to play.
- In the lower left corner of the game’s welcome screen is a language select drop down.
- In the lower right corner of the game’s welcome screen are buttons for game settings, sharing the game on social networks, and reading game developer information.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button to select objects or differences.
    - Long click to zoom in.
    - Click and drag to move which part of the scene you are focused on.
    - Long click again to zoom out.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap objects on the screen with a finger to select them.
      - Pinch to zoom in or out.
      - Drag across the screen to move around the screen.
      - Controls & indicators
        The upper left corner of the game shows how much time you have remaining on the current stage. Next to the timer is an icon to show which stage you are on and what level you are in. Your score appears next to the level number.
        In the upper right corner are 4 buttons for full screen mode, pause game, control game sound, and control game music.
        Across the bottom it shows (depending on the section you are in) the hidden objects you need to find, the letters or numbers you need to find, how many of the 6 differences you have found, or the outline shadows you still need to match.
        The lower right corner of the game has a hints button. When you select a hint & there are multiple objects remaining you can choose which object you seek a hint on.
        The level select screen shows your cumulative level score across all stages of that level for each level.
        Game Play
        Strategy
        This game allows you to play in full screen mode & to long click or pinch to zoom in. Try to find whatever you can find quickly in full screen mode until you have exhausted the easy options, then zoom in to get a better view.
        If you are cutting it close on timing activate the hints feature to find the last item or two needed to complete a stage.
        If you score poorly on a section of a level you can reselect it from the level select screen to replay it.
        Levels
        This game has 6 different railway themed levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        Each stage within each level allows you to pinch to zoom in to view a section of it.
        The first level gives you 4 minutes for each stage & each subsequent level gives you 10 seconds less to where you must finish the stages in the sixth level in 3:10 each.
        Each level has 4 different stages within it.
        The hidden object version of the stage has 16 items hidden in it.
        8 items show in the tray at the bottom of the screen.
        As you find items other appear in the bottom tray until the level is clear.
        Each hidden object you find is worth 500 points.
        Both the hidden objects & shadow matching versions of each stage have 10 coins hidden on them. Each coin is worth 800 points.
        When you beat the core hidden object version of each stage you unlock the hidden number or hidden letters version of the stage.
        The hidden numbers (1 through 30) or hidden letters (26 letters in the alphabet) version of the levels alternates between levels.
        You earn 500 points for each letter or number found.
        Each hint used costs 750 points.
        Beating this part of the level unlocks the find the differences version stage.
        The find the differences version of a stage shows 2 identical images or 2 mirror images.
        Each pair of images has 6 differences in it.
        Each difference you find is worth 200 points.
        Each hint you take costs 1000 points.
        Beating the find the differences version of the stage unlocks the shadow matching version.
        The shadow matching version of the game has you match 16 shadows to items in the game.
        Each match you make is worth 500 points.
        Each hint you take costs 750 points.
        Both the hidden objects & shadow matching versions of each stage have 10 coins hidden on them. Each coin is worth 800 points.
        Each second you have remaining when you complete a stage is worth 30 points.
        Scoring
        Your game score is the sum of your level scores & your level scores are the sum of each stage score from within that level.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like hidden object search games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
